Tyler Thigpen

Tyler Thigpen made his appearance today for the Miami Dolphins. Tyler Thigpen is the Miami Dolphin’s third string QB and he only recently joined the Miami squad this past Fall. Tyler was as surprised as other Dolphins fans when he was called on to finish today’s game against Pittsburgh. And he was almost a hero.

Tyler Thigpen was called in to replace Pat White after he got hit hard and pushed out of bounds by Steeler Ike Taylor. Pat White was removed on a stretcher. Latest Pat White update says he’s OK.

On Tyler‘s first series he led the Dolphins to a 61-yard touchdown drive on his first possession, closing the deficit to 27-17. Thigpen later threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Davone Bess to make it 27-24. However, in the end, he gave up a very costly interception and couldn’t finish the bid for a win. Still, Thigpan proved himself a promising addition to the Miami team.
