Rihanna was allegedly been assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown.
According to reports, a text message from an unnamed woman sparked an argument that led to pop singer Rihanna allegedly being assaulted by her boyfriend Chris Brown. Reports revealed that the argument started when Brown received a message on his phone from a female wanting to “hook up” with the performer.

Rihanna was on her way home with Brown following a pre-Grammys event in LA when the disturbance occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The alleged argument escalated when Rihanna threw the keys to Brown’s rented Lambourghini out of the car window during a row. Chris Brown was then unable to locate the keys, and allegedly put his hands around Rihanna’s neck, and threatened her. Police photos showed the singer’s eyes to be “almost completely swollen shut”.
Reports also say that Chris Brown bit her, punched her, and caused her nose to bleed. But Rihanna’s grandma has come out and said otherwise about Rihanna having a broken nose. Afterwards, Rihanna called the police while Brown hid in a hotel. Chris Brown got out on $50,000 bail and some reports say he could be facing 5 years or more in jail depending on the severity of the beating.
