Rashad Evans is supposed to fight Quinton Jackson but because Jackson is just busy on his movie schedule the fight was postponed. There are many things that happened that made their fight impossible and one of this is when Jackson quits UFC (but he’s back right now). UFC have to replace him and Dana White look for another fighter well-matched for Evans and that is how Silva’s name emerged.
