Pat White had only just entered the Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers game when he was hit by Steelers Defensive Back Ike Taylor as he was running out of bounds with 2:05 remaining in the 3rd Quarter.. It looked like it knocked White unconscious and he was carted off the field after being attended to by paramedics.
This is no surprise to this Cincinnati Bengals fan, the Steelers have always been one of the dirtiest teams in the league, often leading with their helmets in unnecessary situations like this one. The video shows a different angle than what was initially shown in the CBS Television presentation of the NFL football game. In the video the contact was helmet-to-helmet and not helmet-to-shoulder.
The game was delayed 8 minutes as doctors and trainers worked to assist White.
Pat White injury Update: White was taken by ground transportation to Broward General Hospital. Dolphins’ team spokesperson Harvey Greene said White “seems to be OK in terms of movement” but he remains in the facility under examination.

i think this wasn’t a dirty hit at all..it was just a hit for god sake..their are enough stupid rules about protecting the quarterback..you need to play the game of football the way it is played..head to head collisions are part of the freaking game..so if you think that was dirty..you must not have played football
Calling the Steelers dirty for this hit is ridiculous. Watch the video. Why is it okay that Pat White put his head down and charged ahead. He could of just stepped out of bounds… I am sick of hearing that its the other guys fault. This is not a sissy sport and if you put your head down and try to get that extra yard your going to be hit. The steelers are not dirty..Did you see a flag for a bad hit. You can’t even touch someone these days and its a freakin penalty. Just play the damn game….
