Kobe Bryant played like a man possessed in 2009 NBA Finals Game 1 againts the Orlando Magic

The LA Lakers wins their first game against the Orlando Magic. The Lakers dominated Game 1 of the Finals, besting the Magic 100-75 to take the early series lead. Kobe Bryant scored 40 points, a career high in the finals, and it was the 10th time he has scored 40 or more in the playoffs.

“I just want it so bad, that’s all,” Bryant said. “I just want it really bad.”

Kobe Bryant, played like a man with a mission and the Los Angeles Lakers, who have waited nearly one year for a chance to erase bitter memories of their loss over the Boston Celtics and a championship they felt belonged to them, pounded the Orlando Magic 100-75 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

This year, nothing short of a 15th title will do for the Lakers.

And with the sensational Bryant out front, they may be on their way.
