New shocking court documents that have been leaked indicates Kim Kardashian was a battered wife in her marriage with Damon Thomas. Kim Kardashian was abused for three years according to the papers and had filed documents with the court in 2003 detailing the altercations with her husband.
Kim, before becoming popular through a hit reality series in 2008, was revealed through leaked court documents that she was beaten and traumatized emotionally and physically by her ex-husband, Damon Thomas during their three year marriage. Thomas was a popular music producer who had worked with stars like Pink and Lionel Richie. Documents say as a husband he was apparently domineering and cruel.
Kim Kardashian, abused from 2000 to 2003, said that her ex started only months after the couple were married. He was 29 at the time and she was only 19. Citing one particular example, she described a time when she was about to meet up with Justin Timberlake and go skydiving.
“Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open. I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard. I was limping when we went skydiving.”
She also describes how he wanted to control where she was at all times.
“If Damon were not home, I was required to call him and ask permission to leave the house. He said that he wanted to know where I was at all times. Sometimes, Damon would not allow me to leave. For example, he would not allow me to go to the mall or along with friends. He told me that he did not want an opportunity to ‘hit’ on me.”
