One major indicator of a celebrity’s breath of exposure is the number of net of results for that celebrity’s name. In just 12 months, among U.S. English language results, Kate Gosselin has jumped over many of the top celebrity names, and now is catching up to even Paris Hilton.
In 2008, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears were seen as three of the most discussed celebrities online. Well, not anymore.
In entering 2010, Kate Gosselin now has as many net results as Lindsay Lohan - 22 million. That’s compared to Paris Hilton at 43 million.
And surprisingly, Lindsay Lohan could soon be passed by someone else, no other than Jon Gosselin who is now at 19 million. And how does Kim Kardashian compare to Gosselin? She has a mere 14 million.
How about rappers? “Lil Wayne” pulls in a whopping 58 million, compared to 38 million for Eminem and 29 million for Jay Z.
And the shocker? Try “Britney Spears” vs “Lady GaGa”. The results? 61 million vs 71 million!
