Jon and Kate Announcement Spoiler:  Jon and Kate file for divorce! It’s all over for the controversial couple as Jon and Kate file for divorce. Jon and Kate Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8 filed for divorce in Bucks County this afternoon, according to the Web site People.com.

The report came just hours before the couple were to make a much anticipated announcement on tonight’s special one-hour edition of their show. Many have predicted that it will be a “Jon and Kate announce divorce” thing.

The Gosselins have been married for 10 years, but their relationship was on the rocks. The news comes several days after Jon was spotted apartment hunting in New York. He and Kate have been spending the majority of their time apart over the past month, with Jon sticking closer to their suburban Pennsylania home while Kate took the kids on vacation in North Carolina, after which each continued to play single-ish parent in front of the cameras.

Jon was photographed on Sunday celebrating Father’s Day with his children and Kate was not present.
TLC has been running promos with Kate saying,

“Recently, we’ve made some life-changing decisions - decisions that will affect every member of our family.”

This life changing decisions is now clear, Jon and Kate file for divorce! So what will happen the show? Well, lets all wait for the announcement….
