Miranda Tozier-Robbins, a woman accused of peeking into the windows of Britney Spears’s Calabasas, Calif., home and a former American Idol contestant was intercepted by security guards and then turned over to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The arrest was made hours before the pop star was due to deliver the first of two Los Angeles shows on her Circus tour.
Authorities arrested Miranda Tozier-Robbins, 26, who was wearing camouflage and toting a camera at the time of her arrest. She was charged for trespassing and disorderly conduct before being released. Tozier-Robbins was a fifth-season American Idol contestant who auditioned with the Spears ballad “Everytime.”
Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said that the reason Tozier-Robbins was at Spears’s home is unknown. It is also unclear where Britney Spears was at the time of the alleged intrusion.
Later Thursday, however, onstage at L.A.’s Staples Center, Britney Spears performed at the Staples Center in L.A. Brit’s two sons, Preston and Jayden Federline, 3 and 2 respectively, watched her from above the 17th row, next to a sound booth. And though Spears, 27, performed a sexually charged show, the two boys didn’t see all of it. They were gone from their seats by the time Spears finished.
