Final Fantasy XIV (14) | Online and for PS3 Only due out next year

Final Fantasy XIV only available online and PlayStation 3 is set to be released 2010

Final Fantasy 13 (Final Fantasy XIII) is set to be released on 2010 but Final Fantasy 14 (Final Fantasy XIV) which is also due out next year, will be a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). Final Fantasy XIV ( Final Fantasy 14) will be online and is only available for PlayStation 3 (PS3).

Square Enix announced the released of Final Fantasy XIV although Final fantasy XIII isn’t out yet but they did not provide any details yet about Final Fantasy XIV, but a trailer of the game was shown Tuesday at the E3 Conference in Los Angeles. Subsequently, Square Enix launched a teaser site for the game, where fans can watch the video.

Final Fantasy XIV appears to take place in medieval times including Chocobos and airships, similar to the setting in Final Fantasy XII.

Square Enix’s first online Final Fantasy title was Final Fantasy XI, which was available for Windows PCs and PlayStation 2. Final Fantasy XIV will be exclusive to the PS3.
