Farrah Fawcett Funeral: Farrah Fawcett funeral will be today in downtown LA. A private funeral Mass will be held for actress Farrah Fawcett at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Farrah Fawcett 24-year-old son, Redmond O’Neal will be allowed to attend her funeral.
Redmond O’Neal, who is currently serving a sentence for violating his probation on drug charges, will be released from Pitchess Detention Center to attend the invitation-only funeral. He will be able to wear civilian clothes and will be accompanied by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.
The “Charlie’s Angels” star died Thursday of a rare cancer at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. After the funeral, O’Neal will be returned to Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, where he is undergoing what the Sheriff’s Department calls an “intense drug rehabilitation program.”
