Blackberry Messenger outage! Blackberry Messenger outage has once again dominated the searches. According to reports from various sources, RIM is experiencing MAJOR outages on december 22. The BBM outage was all across North America this afternoon. The BBM outage affecting users throughout the continent coincides with the release of a new version of the Blackberry messaging service according to Erictric.
Today Research in Motion released version 5.0.0.57 after 5.0.0.55 and 5.0.0.56 were released last week. It seems RIM is trying to fix the bugs. The Blackberry Messenger outage is affecting Blackberry Messenger, email, web browsing to name a few. So far no word from RIM on this issue. It all started with Blackberry Messenger service but later the outage expanded to email and web browsing.

Email seems ok though. And it seems not all carriers and not all subscribers are affected.
